One good instance is that of blockchain getting used as a way to vote in democratic elections. The nature of blockchain’s immutability means that fraudulent voting would become far more difficult to happen. Due to the size of Bitcoin’s network and how briskly it is rising, the fee to drag off such a feat would most likely be insurmountable. Not solely would this be extremely costly, but it would also likely be fruitless. Doing such a thing would not go unnoticed, as community members would see such drastic alterations to the blockchain.
