This Los Angeles bungalow sits in the Larchmont Village neighborhood, in a bungalow originally built as housing for the Vital lot. Designer Raychel Wade notes the area has kept its character, a rarity in a city often defined by cookie-cutter renovations. Tree-lined streets, a true sense of community, and original details remain intact, giving the home a warm, residential feel in the middle of the city.
Primary Suite and Outdoors
The primary bedroom was an addition built by architect Rudin Donner Design, Inc. before the current work began. Raychel Wade had custom nightstands from James Showroom made with playful hoofed feet. The room features ikat striped wallpaper and a matching Roman shade that play against rich floral bedding on the bed.

The real feature of this suite is the indoor-outdoor flow. Giant sliding doors lead directly out to a landscaped backyard designed by Allison Massey Environment Design, shaded by towering pepper trees, creating a quiet retreat that blends the interior with the natural surroundings.
